Censored because it was to close to the truth for some.

edit: think of it more as a lesson in etiquette than censorship bud

Very peculiar business practice here... Im assuming they raised the price back up because of people wanting refunds who paid the $1550?

This is a public discussion forum, correct? Why is posting a well thought out, and written opinion grounds for censure? I used no harsh language, or foul words, but simply broke it down as I did similar textbook cases on my way to an economics degree.

It was a well worded accusation which I felt to be unfair. Let's see what Mr. Young has to say about the price change before jumping on him. Ok?

I concede that point, however, I do not believe that it should have been censored, only rebutted. Censorship is not, nor will it ever be "anti-establishment" if you ask me....

I digress, and apologize to all interested parties for my off topic post here, rest assured, I am finished.

I talked to Robert this morning, there was a mis-communication between their parts buyer, accounting dept, and web designer. In other words, there was a mis-understanding which resulted in an incorrect price being put on the internet, they cannot even produce them for the amount that was listed, someone thought that they were getting parts at x number when it was much higher then x. They made a mistake, but he said that they will honor any WR sold while the incorrect price was listed. Maybe he will post here to clarify, but after his product, which they spent a LOT of time developing, has been drug over the coals, beaten, kicked and shot on this forum, I would not expect him to. RoundPro is running a 2.3 with the WR and was able to overtake and pass a Carrera GT on the straight at MSR, and the owner of the Porsche admitted to being at WOT and trying to get on it. It works for him.

You know what sad about this entire situation? Robert Young and Forced Performance are not a vendor of this site. He and FP have no protection from the Mods or Admins.

Now If this was , say, Dynoflash , Words of vendor bashing anf the like would be filling Moderators PM boxes and posts and threads would start randomly disappearing.

Seems as if Evom is a business, a business in where your either with us or against us. And if your with us your paying the Fees and offered protection so that when you screw up its covered up and no one is allowed to discuss it.

Now, this entire thread is a great example of against us.

we would all love to see the dyno sheets. please list your current mods.

thanks

Ok

My mods are HKS 272's cams,ARP-headstuds,720cc injectors,Walbro255 pump,Perrin front mount intercooler,AMS lower intercooler pipe,Injen upper pipe and intake.Exedy twin disc clutch,u-tec with remote map switch,Hall-man boost controller,in car. Turbosmart bov,HKS-DL-2 ignition box. BR-8ES sparkplugs.Perrin 3' downpipe,Perrin test pipe 3'.,Fujitsubo-RM10A exhaust.WR-turbo.In transit Stillway engine Dampner, turbo timer, FP-wastegate actuator.I am also looking foward to my dyno on friday.I also have to comment about my pump map on the u-tec.In all driving ranges on the pump map at 22 psi the car really dosen't feel any stronger then the stock turbo until 7000,rpm's.It holds a little more power up top but dosen't feel like much.As soon as I switch to my race gas map and boost 24psi, the car throws you in the back seat.I had to run's those cobra's sat night to see what the difference was and on that race gas map and higher boost it really pulls hard to 8,000.They were impressed also.

That's right, my car rocks THANKS TO FORCED PERFORMANCE AND THE WR!

I am very happy with the outcome. I don't know what number I would put down on a dyno and honestly I can care less.

Again, going from the TME turbo to the FPWR shaved off 1.2sec off of my best time at MSR.

How much more proof do you need to see the evidence of the benefit of this turbo...

BTW, someone should put a track day together at MSR, could be way cool to have a bunch of EVOs around the track...

My issue with the WR pricing is that there was no explaination as to why it went back up. They should have posted something on thier website stating why the $1175 went away. I mean if the webmaster had time to change the price, then he should have put up an explaination too.

Not sure, since the price for the TME still seems to be 970 (it was higher before).
