sorry, I have seen cams acually lose power on a car, not the EVO. until some tunning was done. test pipe, H flow cat. I cannot say i have seen 10-15 whp with these mods by them self. if you have dyno sheets of some i would like to see them. most people i have talked with or seen , did the entire exhaust or down pipe and cat delete for the 10-15 your talking about. AGAIN you put your self back into the i thinks it makes argument and this whole thread is about details and equal comparisons. sorry you feel i am being difficult but you must be thorough or just bolt crap on and guess how much power your making.
Well, that is kind of fair that it went back up, for several reasons. Number one, what about the few vendors who are selling it and may still have a few? I know that they did not pay $1550, but I would bet that it was more then $1175. Are they just to be stuck out with losses on their hands? And for the other vendors who have already sold them, you know that they have pissed off customers calling, as I know FP did. And those of us who bought the turbo when it came out due to rumors of an impending price increase, so are we to be left with our pants around our ankles to the tune of $375? All of the sudden we could not even begin to sell the turbo for any kind of a decent price if one of us had too. I am glad that FP put the price back, it is just not right to drop it on the people who faithfully bought the turbo in the first place. But I would not be suprized if we saw some sort of price reduction in the future, just not on that kind of scale.... My thoughts only.
^^^^^ Why did the price go back up?????????? I thought that FP was reducing the price due to the following
What's the reasoning? Seems alittle wishy washy

The price reduction is possible because of cost reductions on parts that have just arrived that we are using to build additional turbos with. Units from here on out have a lower cost to produce, therefore a lower cost to consumer. Earlier units had a much higher cost to produce and had to be priced accordingly. With MHIA and part pricing, you never really know what to expect. These prices swing all over sometimes.

let me get this straight, 1500 bucks for a turbine wheel that gets you close to stock spool and has a bit more power, compared to a brand new Garret turbo (GT30R, GT35R) which is cheaper and gives more hp. I know a turbo kit is more expensive but if you just compare a turbo and just a turbine wheel, then the WR is NOT cheap IMO. To me the WR should cost under 1K... my 2 cents

Again, you seem to be making things more difficult than they need to be. THere are plenty of threads and examples of cams giving people approximately 20 whp. If you want to see reams of numbers regarding cams on Evos, use the search function. I'm not going to do your homework for you.
I posted a dyno graph of 2 cars tuned by the same guy who were on the dyno back to back in the same conditions. If that doesn't satisfy you, perhaps you'll never be satisfied. As for your comment about randomly bolting on "crap," whatever. Crap is trying to struggle through the poor grammar of your post. I'm tired of dealing with internet Doubting Thomas types.

Wr Turbo
Hello, I have to give my review of my WR turbo.I have a few friends with 03 cobra's with 450 plus whp.Out on the ave where we meet up and set up runs,I have made several comparsion runs with these cars.On my stock turbo, from a roll of course I could barly hold them off to 100 mph. After 100 they would pass me up.I installed the WR and new boost guage.. went down sat night and made the same runs twice with this cobra.First run was from a 10 mph roll and second run was from a 30 roll.On both runs I had him by 2 plus car length's on the top of 4'th gear.I was very happy with the results on how this turbo performs on my race map,110 octane fuel.Next friday I'll be back on the dyno meeting up with Malibu jack and a few other friends.
