I pity the fool who shells out $1200 for this ....... might as well stick with a stock 05 turbo

Lets not forget that the turbo its being compared to is a TME with a ball bearing center section, also not a cheap solution. I was going to make an argument for the WB based on how close it came HP wise, but my god the TQ diff is HUGE. Still the WR is I would assume 1/2 the cost of that TME BB

Thank you for helping me to not make a huge mistake. I was planning on the White Rabbit as a cheap solution to more HP. I am a firm believer that with the OEM turbo and some water/methanol injection I could match that easily.

The only people that could POSSIBLY benefit from the WR are 9.8 turbo folks. Even then if you did a CBA you would not want the WR. Personally I don't see why people would pay so much for such a little jump to begin with. If the stock turbo doesn't do it for you ....either get nitrous or go with something like a GT35R.

This is true the Essex TME ball bearing is no cheap option I believe its about $1900.

This is NOT a test with WR against stock turbo or even TME turbo - - this is a test against the WR and a very high end exotic stock based high perfromance unit.

The main point was that the customer originally had the Essex unit and wanted to see if the WR unit could out do it

Soon i will have the 30 plus psi graphs (if the turbo will boost so high)

LOL...going from stock to gt35..like there is nothing inbetween....you ever heard of driveability? or how about a road course, you do know the purpose of these things we call evo's don't you?

the stock turbo is a badass unit....i mean, 400whp on a 2L motor with the stock turbo is NOTHING to sneeze at. i dunno when people are gonna start maxing out their stocker before they jump on the upgrade bandwagon.

Whom ever can develope a cheap turbo for the consumer that wants 50AWHP more on pump will be a rich man! I might just have to start searching in Japan until we get something here.

Al..you need to get your hands on an evo IX rs turbo and determine what kind of modifications are needed to make it fit. If i understand correctly, the evo IX turbo is the turbo of the future for the X... putting on the IX is sort of a test run? With the Ti internals and new larger design Id like to see if it can put out more power then this unit for alot less money.
