20G turbo upgrade from Buschur Racing.
Still like to see someone else run low 11s with this 20g or the evo 8 version of it besides Dave. Still, gotta admire his hard work and dedication to the Evo community. Hope this one lives up to the expectations. If so, I'd be down for one as well.
awaiting new results and updates.
And about daves comments earlier on us not reading.
I know dave takes a lot of time to write his reviews but most of the time I just skim thru the paragraphs and just look for the results of the testing, i.e. charts, and numbers..
and opinions on whats better or whats not.

I just wanna be able to run 10's with stock like spool......
So I'm hoping for the EVO 9 20G, with the upgraded actuator to be the hot ticket!!

Humm, I'm more picky than that I'd like to see at least 119-120 MPH traps

I have a feeling based on Dave's comment regarding a target of 375whp on their Mustang dyno with race gas that traps will be closer to 130MPH. The 130 trap should be good for a 10 second pass.
thanks for the input......
i can see dave making comments about me not reading too carefully.....
just kidding....
David can you please post up the specs on the motor that this turbo is currently on. I know it is not stock and im wondering what the compression ratio is, displacement, whether the head is ported or not,a and what cams you have. Thanks in advance.
Don't take offense to my "not reading" comment Blue EVO8, it wasn't directed to only you. You can see my point I am sure.
The old 20G worked great, it has run a best of 11.30 and 124 mph in the 1/4 mile. This was never with the car completely right. This was with a WHP of 330-340. The car made 376 whp when I finally got the boost right, I never ran the car like that. This should have produced trap speeds close to 127 mph on race gas. I am thinking now that this new design might make more than the 376 the old turbo made, I am hoping I can hit very close to 400 whp. If this is the case then there is a chance the trap speeds will reach close to 130 mph.
Keep in mind, this same 20G design we are using, back in the peak of DSM days ran 11.07 at 127 mph with me behind the wheel. I sold that car to John Shepherd, it is the same one he now has in the 7's. He ran 10.72 at 132 mph with the same set-up and turbo.
The turbo is surely capable of 10's, just a matter of the right driver and combination.
NEWS BREAK!!
We are going into testing a new compressor cover for the EVO8 20G. We now have a ported shroud inlet for the turbo. Those of you that already have the EVO8 20g this, we are hoping, will eliminate or greatly reduce the surge issues. This will make for a cheaper solution than the EVO9. I should have some data by the end of next week.
