here is a small vid clip of the idle on my car when testing started a year and a half ago. The car was running only a reflash and cam gears - no stalling occured.

right click - save as!

hopefully David will post vids of his RS, I am sure it sounds a bit meaner

I know it would be a waste of a little money but I was wondering if I could install just the exhaust cam, springs, and retainers on my EVO 9? Would the Revolver exhaust cam net me any more power than a 280 HKS exhaust cam? I would purchase the complete Revolver intake/exhaust cam set and use just the exhaust cam if Dave thinks just the exhaust cam would be worth it for a EVO 9 Mivec head.

Tell me something about this 20G compressor....... Is it the same design as the 25+ year old 20G from the days of yore but machined as a reverse rotation wheel, or is it a redesigned wheel that Buschur just happens to call the 20G because of its characteristics.

If it is indeed a backward version of the old 20G (which is a diesel compressor from a fuso truck) then these numbers, along with the numbers in the EVOONYOASS (?) thread are astounding. To get that much power out of a wheel that small in a housing not designed with that wheel in mind is just mind boggling. I cant believe that anyone who claims to know anything about turbos is not floored by the results.

You guys are wringing this poor little compressor to within an inch of its life. My hats off to you for getting it to make this kind of power. Especially using a wheel design from circa 1978.

jeff

You could but the stock fmic is maxed out at 400whp. This 20G is capable of more than that on pump gas.

you can still run it regardless... it will just cap yer power potential... technically your everything limits you in horsepower somewhere.... but we're not all tryinna build race cars.

the lower ic pipes do have clearance issues... or rather you can't use a stock lower ic pipe with the evo 9 turbo with anything besides an evo 9. if you ahve any other model then you'll have to get the lower ic pipe mounting or whatever kit from br.

I'm confused about the 20g-9? is that a model number or a turbo of the new evo 9?

Thanks man, thats what I thought.... I guess that works out for the better anyway - I needed to replace my lower ic pipes anyway!
