Not usually, though it'd be easy enough to put a WR compressor wheel into an Evo9 turbo to create a WR9. Not sure why anyone would want to do that though, unless they had an 06 Evo.

Why are you getting concerned? You bought it from Buschur right. I don't know why everyone has to speculate all of the time. Dave himself has demonstrated what the EVO9-20G can do, and has attached tons of dyno sheets and given alot of info for it. This turbo has potential and will be seen as people put them on their cars and run them at the track.

Hard to tell from the pictures, but does the turbo outlet pipe which comes with the install kit have a nipple like the stock pipe?

we are speculating because 5 blades are different than 6, and all those dyno graphs posted don't distinguish between the 2. No one in the know has commented on one being better than the other, or being the same for that matter. So we have to guess until someone fills us in.

That being said, I agree with you that I wouldn't be all that concerned. I don't think DB wouldn't sell an inferior product than his previous generation. If anything, this new turbo has probably shown similar or better results on the dyno.

I wouldn't be concerned but definietly curious.

i do agree with u 110% that david would never sell a product inferior to an old one. but i am very courious now and it has all my attention. this is mine with 5 blades.
