Stock 05 MR BOV

how much boost can the stock 05 MR hold..i heard 25 PSI is its limit before it starts leaking...other ppl are telling me different

They are plastic and don't hold much boost. The DV in the 06 Evo IX can hold plenty of boost.

Evouser, there is no 05 MR BOV. You are confusing the piece of crap plastic BOV on your MR with the real JDM MR DV. They are not the same, which is why you THINK you heard that it could hold 25psi, because the metal JDM MR DV can hold 25psi. The stock BOV on IXs is the same as the JDM MR DV, but the one from your 05 MR is the same one that's on all USDM VIIIs. It sucks and is known to leak as early as 13psi...

thats why i said STOCK OBv and i said MR to let ppl kno what car is was on thats why i said 2005 MR and not 2006 MR cuz i kno the one on the IX is different..thanx

There's no reason to say MR at all, because the USDM MRs have the same BOV as the non-MRs. What matters is the model: VIII or IX. Nothing else needs to be mentioned.

Good job on getting the JDM MR DV from Gruppe-S for $105 shipped. Can't beat that!
