Exclamation Help!

Last night i opened up my car and when i hit 4th gear around 100mph 5k rpm my car was hesitating and letting out a nasty back fire, i am running 16psi boost have a aem intake, and hks ssq bov and hard pipe, with a turbo xs manual boost controller. is it possible i am running to much boost, dont the stock evo's run like 19 psi boost or something??? Someone told me its fuel starvation and that i should get a bigger fuel pump??? any suggestions or similar problems?

16 psi is lower than stock. correct me if im wrong, but i believe that it is like 19 or 20 pounds. im not too sure why you think he is more likely to blow his motor now than stock.
