is it necessary?

I have got 2006 IX.Now it's stock... Next month I'm gone a buy injen intake.
Also, I wonder about intercooler nos sprey...??? I know it isn't real NOS power.
Especially in summer it will be works good I think... here is my questions...

1- is it good for car or risky???

2- Power gain ???

3- which brand should I buy ???

4- Anyone use this ??? Benefits???

5- ECU needs tune???

You might want to get an exhaust system first and maybe a boost controler. The Injen intake is nice but wont help much until you get a tune. The intercooler chiller give about 30 - 40 whp but only while spaying. You can get those gain and more with an exhaust, boost controler and a tune.

You might be better keeping car stock, the 06 is the fastest yet, enjoy it.

Get a boost gauge, boost controller, catback and a good tune...you should have lots of fun for awhile.

I have the Injen intake and it's good, but it would not have been my first mod of choice. The catback, for example, give a good power difference from stock and makes the car sound good!!!!!

check out this sick evo ix by JUN. it was in a recent issue of modified mag. car put out some awesome numbers. forget the intake(at least at first) and things like intercooler sprayer as they dont give you constant power gains. good luck w/ modifying!

intake is one of the last things you should get, search, you'll find some good stuff...or you can use warrtalons upgrade path. you can find that off the buschur website.

yes, please dont be one of those owners who buys a BOV and intake first!! Get the 3" exhaust first and a boost flash with MBC. The stock airbox on the car is rated super high for efficiency. Its not like the average civic's airbox! Go with the best HP for the money and take others advice on this. Getting the Nos kit won't be worth it if thats all your doing, especially when its not used as a direct port setup. Good luck and enjoy your IX

As for noise, get Greddy. It’s very quiet… deep low tone. I don’t like loud exhausts either on a daily driver. It was a good choice.

Agreed! True words of wisdom.

The BOV on the 9 will serve you just fine “cetinsaya.” I’m at 350whp and I’m using your BOV from the IX. Works perfectly.
