Any rattle so far on your Evo?

I've seen a couple posts about rattle on their Evo VIIIs. Perhaps it's a good idea to summarize it with a poll?

I'm including the threads that I come across, if you find out that there are more threads with this discussion, feel free to include them!

jedinite's driving impression

Dash rattle, part 1

Dash rattle, part 2

As for my Evo, it has passenger side dash rattle from day 1, and mine is not wiperblade related since it's still there when I flip the wiperblade...

The plastic peice that covers the back of the steering wheel buzzes at cartain frequencies really loud on my Evo. Just reach through the steering wheel and tap on the plastic just on the other side of the metal momo, is yours secured tightly or does its make loud plastic "tick" when you tap it. I'm gonna try tightening all the screws around the steering wheel tomorrow.

Mine have all but gone away.

I had the pass side dash rattle when I first bought the car.

Now at ~3200 miles I'm not noticing it any more. Will try to do some more testing to see if its truely gone...

I heard the b-pillar cover rattle once. But other than that, I have no reoccurring rattles at 3k miles.

Interesting.... guess we need to break-in the dash as well?

Haha break in the dash, funny but I was hoping that the sound would go away after some driving time. Hope its true, that noise is REALLY irritating.

No rattles which I find amazing considering how stiff the chassis is. Hope it stays that way.

No noticable rattles for me at 2000 miles. Maybe something is rattling but sure don't hear it when I'm driving. I'll have to ask the passengers what they think next time I have some.

I drove home and back to work today with only the harmonious melody of the 4G63 keeping me company.

No constant dash rattle.

Happy to report that it has indeed gone away.

Anyone else who had the passenger side dash rattle - still have it? Fireball?

Not sure when it went away. I know I had it at least up to 1000 miles. Not sure when it went away after that...
