Congrats to Emery for running 10's on stock block.All the 10's guy,do you have a log that show the time of 60-125MPH/60-130MPH?

Just raced my 500whp IX for the first time last weekend... I got one question... HOW IN THE **** DO ANY OF YOU GUYS GET TRACTION WITH STREET TIRES???
Im on rt-615 with 18psi in the tires and cant get it too hook up for ****... this is on a pretty decent track. i mean i was smoking the tires all the way to 4th gear and just let out of it... i twas pointless.

Are you sure its not your clutch slipping, cause spinning through 4th is pretty hard to belive. I dont even know of a RWD car with 424lbs of tq. that can spin the rear tires into 4th.

nope.. clutch only has 2k on it... the track was a little cold and it had sprinkled all day long... they dryed the track but im sure that had something to do with it... but im serious i cant get this thing to hook for anything. I always pulled consisten 1.6 60-footers with my stock clutch and turbo.

Same with me... I spin 1st and 2nd... You are not alone I have started to play with the 2-step a little and dropping it down... My tires are usually at about 15-18psi at the track...

yeah i put mine at arbout 20 and dropped the twostep to 5300... i spun hard all the way into 3rd and pulled a 12.23 with a 2.8 yes a 2.8 60footer at like 124mph

well i was sitting still bouncing between 5-7k trying to get it to hook.... after 5k there is no torque its all 537whp trying to grab.

hp is just a calculation based on tw. with a 35R all your torque SHOULD be between 5-7k.
