Great job as I would expect from your shop, I wish I took my car to you guys for my 2.3 set-up. I would still have mine if that was the case. How about building me a turbo kit for my eclipse? Like you are not busy enough!!

Can't wait to see track times for this car!!! Congrats to the owner on a beast!

How do you figure that? AMS tuned a GT45 car to 630whp at 21psi.

(QUOITE= Doesn't AMS tune on a Dynojet? Don't they currently have the fastest 1/4 mile trap and the fastest ET for a US Evolution? I mean I know the Dynojet has the highest numbers, but some of the fastest cars use them including

[QUOTE=freshsrt-4]well, if thats the case, thats saying AMS doesnt have a 1000whp evo then? hhhmmm..........

Lets not try to start trouble between two great shops guys with the above digs and other horse***t statements. They both set the standard for quality built cars.

Great Job Dave

Peak,

It's easier to discuss something with someone when you don't start out by questioning their integrity. Basically your calling David a liar. I know the man fairly well and while I might call him a hardazz SOB, and some other things. , the man gives his heart and soul to this industry. It's his passion so much so that he is on here posting at 3am cause he can't sleep. His brain won't stop working on the next way to make our cars faster. He would NEVER come on here and post some bogus numbers because it's just not in him. The guy is not made that way.

well the owner of engine logics said he did a evo head for buschur, but dave denied it. integrity, do you guys all remember the whole 20g-5 vs 20g-6 deal. i might believe most of the mods except the br stage 3 head. engine logics is where curt brown had his head done.

I wasn't aware of that, so that does change the picture. Was 630WHP at 21 psi at a normal RPM, or was it like 8500-9000 rpm on a built high speed motor? This is also an anomaly.

How I figure this is simple--most Strong Evos with big turbos make ~400-450 WHP on pump (no alky). These are considered excellent DynoJet pump numbers by most tuners, including Turbo Trix, Buschur and AMS.

If 450 WHP DynoJet is a good GT Turbo pump gas number, and 350 DJ WHP is a good pump number for a stock turbo with a tune and TBE, then 600 WHP DynoJet on pump is 33% more than a good pump gas GT turbo #. A 33% increase over the good pump gas, stock turbo car w/tune and TBE # would be 465 WHP DynoJet. Nobody has made 465 WHP on pump gas with a stock turbo, tune and TBE at 21 psi--not even close.

Not saying Buschur is lying. I respect them more than any other vendor. Fact remains this result seems to defy all logic, reason, and the current knowledge about the Evo's capabilities.

I guarantee all the head work is done in house at Buschur's.

Since you bring up 20gs, where is the guy with "The real 20g" that made 400 horse and ran like 12.0s @ 117 mph. I would like to speak with him, i remember several months ago him making some sarcastic remarks about how our 20g sucks
Theres another guy with a good signature on here to, it has something to do with a turd on a sidewalk and somebody laying a better turd....

That was me when some of the guys were ragging on Dave about the new time attack car. You know, come in to a BR thread, trash/ridicule/claim no way, then they move on to never be heard from again. I guess if you can't compete you resort to the attacks.

I can't believe you guys are so quick to rag on another vendor trying to ask questions. He never stated that David was a liar, he never said it wasn't possible. He simply stated the fact that these numbers are above ordinary(IMO more than possible/real/legit), and he would like to know some information so as to try and figure out how this became possible.

You guys need to stop huggin Dave's nuts so he can do his job and answer the questions. Someone online who claims to know David cannot legimately answer questions that only David would know.

I am buying a NEW MR and am probably going to keep it stock for a while while all this modding mess gets worted.

I found it amazing that Daves 20G worked so well, but I wana see a car other then Daves go that fast, with just a flash and HKS cams.

I wana see what they are going to do for a IX.

I also really cannot be shaken on the 50TRIM, I really don't see a better street turbo, maybe the GT3076R.
