that was untuned also runing 10:1 AFR just go get urself a nice 300$ exhaust cam from hks or something to tide u over till the IX cams come out. It will only be slighty lopey also. i ran these times with pump gas also at 24 psi. all i did was add some 15% nitro to my tank. it was 95 degrees at night also.

You may have added methanol, but that is nowhere near the same. Next time dont post blatantly wrong information to support your power gain from a cam.

sorry I don't believe my info is wrong. even if I didn't run nitro that night have have greater pull at higher rpms. how do I know? I see it in my street racing . so quit trying to prove me wrong. I know how my car is and what it did before the cam. it is also my opinion if u don't like it look the other way. if u don't want cams don't get them. all u people do on this site is talk **** I swear. especially when there is a diff that I see

So, tell us more about this supposed "nitro" you use...

If you have steal parts in the engine the methanol in the fuel is a hygroscopic, Which means it easily attracts and absorbs moisture. The moisture could cause rust and corrosion on steel engine parts if the fuel is not removed. While it burns slowly, there is also the danger of explosion when nitro is used, Plus you have to flush the fuel system and motor after each use. And when you were talking to me about it, You wanted to run straight Nitromethane. It would be very dangerous to do and you don't want to mix it with pump gas. It is possible and it has been done successfully. However, there are a number of problems that make this impractical. These include the corrosive nature of the combustion gasses after Nitromethane is burned. This process produces large amounts of nitric acid, which is not only corrosive but toxic. And again to prevent serious corrosion, a thorough flushing of the fuel system and motor is necessary after use. There is Nitropropane, which can be mixed with gasoline. Nitropropane and gasoline have been tested and shown to provide small but significant power increases. And you can't put it in with your meth/water injection, as nitro does not mix with water. It is hard to believe you are running nitro in you fuel tank, and if you have ever heard of Nitro RC's you would know after each use you have to do some sort of after run maintenance(Flushing the engine).
Sorry to go off topic, Back on topic. The only cams I have heard are from Turbotrix. I think cosworth and GSC are coming out with some as well. Never heard of any other, But I am sure there are going to be some more.
I too have only seen the cams from Turbotrix. Personally I don't see much advantage in changing the cams in the IX because of MIVEC. Thats the whole point of variable cam lift and timing is to have granny cams at idle and bigger lift at high rpm WOT. I'm sure there will eventually be some that will work with MIVEC to eak out a bit more power, but I just can't see it being anything tremendously significant. Especially for the price.
And Sesso.... I'd say you've inhaled too much of that Nitro.

Ultimately it would be nice to know why the IX isn't seening much gain from bigger cams.
