compression numbers...

I just ran a compression test on my 05 with 5000 miles

#1 180

#2 160

#3 150

#4 165


The numbers seem ok but i am still burning coolent. Any thoughts.

by burning coolent you mean its presant in your oil.. meaning your headgasket is blown? do you have an ix

Its a 05 he said so its not a IX. Y dont u take it back for warrenty if its only got 5k on it? IF its coolant coming out ur overflow or out ur exhuast then its either a head gasket or turbo issue depending where its coming from.

180 and 150 in the same engine looks like an engine problem. thats a large variation.

I have tried to have it fixed under warranty. They wont do it because it will cost them alot of labor hours.

Theres got to more to that. They can't tell you no cause it will cost them to much. If you have your warranty and not modded they can not tell you no

why isnt ur car under warrenty with 5k on it. They cant deny it for no reason.

Trust me i have tried. I am having all these test done so i can prove that there is something wrong. And call Mitsu and ***** them out!!

They know theres a problem cause you said "They wont do it because it will cost them alot of labor hours" What else do you need. Theres got to be more to the story than your saying then

Yea man isn't 150 low to begin with? I thought 160 or higher is healthy.
