If you're interested in a BWS256 kit which I believe is same thing as the 50trimET check this out. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=243491

Of course I am going to agree with the statement, "you may as well get Buschur's kit". I looked at the link and it's a decent looking kit, but at $3175 I feel you are getting less than our kits offer.

Our kits have everything included in that kit PLUS you choice of any GT30 or GT35, we use the 44 mm Tial gate, ours is all V-band connections, oil feed and return lines and a low profile high flow fan, for $2995. Already proven good for 9's at 142+ mph. In the spring you are going to see 150 mph from my RS. On our $2995 kit.

I love the BR v-bands. Although Ive developed a very slight leak on the dumptube clamp side. How much can you crank on those clamps Dave?

Just looked at that kit also and 1 thing you dont do with your kits Dave and might want to consider is welding on the 02 bung. Just a thought.

Correct we do not put an 02 bung on our housings. I do believe we are set up to do it now if it is requested.

The clamps can be put on pretty tight but they shouldn't need to be overly tightened to get to seal.

so will you be testing the BB 50-trim kit in the near future? and customers have to request a bung in the 02 housing, is that correct? kind of odd.

Yes, we are just waiting on the turbos to come in from the builder, we are ready to sell BB 50 trims already.

The 02 bung. The reason we don't install it is in my opinion if you are running a large turbo you should have already put some real fuel management on the car. With the AEM it uses one wide band 02 sensor and they do not want it installed close to the turbo. So we install the 02 sensor in the rear 02 position under the car. Doing this would leave the extra front 02 hole to plug off. For a guy that is commited to keeping his stock ECU he needs the bung and we can install it for him.

The funny thing about those clamps Dryad is that i have been using those things on F-15 aircraft for the last ten years and i know for a fact they have been around since the 80's on aircraft being used on our ECS (bleed air systems) . They are one of the best clamps i have ever seen but they do get a little lose sometimes and you have to retighten them if you don't have a castlelated nut. But even still because of the heat the nut gets damaged and can loosen itself . But those clamps can take some punishment, but like dave said you shouldn't have to smoke it down to get a seal. You may need to replace the clamp if you can't get a seal.

It is amazing how many things that us flight line guys have been using on aircraft that are starting to become available for commercial use......if they keep going with the Mil-Spec hardware cars are gonna get really cool.

The wiggins fittings are also in that field, 16's use them for fuel connections

What would be wrong using the OEM ECU (Especially IX Guys) with the BB 50Trim or even the 35R? I beleiev Al tuned a AMS 35R on the Stock Ecu to bang out 550WHP on ALky on a stock bottom end.

+1 A properly tuned and well put together setup will do more than ok on the stock ecu. Look at Smogrunner, he's pushing nearly 600whp w/stock ecu/maf/head/etc!!

LOL, you got the BANG part right, that's for sure. Don't get me wrong, it'll do it ... for a little while anyway.
