Buschur Racing 50 trim turbo kit......
When will this kit be ready to ship? what's the final price, complete bolt on? Using the following : AEM EMS w/ BC 280's, full 3" TBE, MR O2 & headers, 255 FP, BR intake & UICP, FMIC, What kind of power can I expect on 93 (street) & 110 (track)? How will this kit work on a roadcourse & DD?

I love it when numbers get thrown out there for power levels when nobody has dyno'd this turbo on a 4G63 yet
Not sure what it is going to make. I will this week. It is almost together.
The kit should be in the $2,000 range, maybe less.

ATTENTION NEWBS! This is how you read a thread about a new product from Dave Buschur:
ONLY READ POSTS MADE BY DAVE BUSCHUR! Once in a while the guy who actually owns the test car will chime in (in this case, that would be cpdevo31). Those are usually helpful as well. The rest is useless speculation and babble. All of these new product threads would eaily be under 100 posts and it would be easy to get all of the necessary info if most people could just get that through their thick skulls and STFU and wait for the results.
WE DON'T GIVE A **** WHAT KIND OF POWER YOU THINK DAVE'S KIT WILL MAKE, OR WHAT YOUR FRIEND'S UNCLE'S BROTHER'S CAR MADE WITH HIS AMS KIT WITH DIFFERENT MODS ON A DIFFERENT DYNO! ESPECIALLY WHEN THIS IS BEING DONE WITH A TURBO THAT HAS NEVER BEEN ON AN EVO BEFORE ... EVER!!! This is a NEW turbo that SHOULD make more power AND spool faster than any other 50-trim kit anyone else has sold. It is NOT the same 20-year-old 50-trim that everyone else is selling. Not to mention that 50-trim is a ratio and has nothing to do with actual compressor or turbine size. FYI, a standard off-the-shelf GT30R and GT35R are BOTH 56-trim compressor wheels, but obviously very different in size. And if you want, you can get a GT-3076R in 48, 52, 56, or 60-trim!

Anyway, I'm tired of ranting, the proof is in the dyno and the timeslips, we'll find out when it's done. Keep in mind that Dave has made NO PROMISES! This thing could suck, but we don't know yet.
Thanks Dave, I'll wait for your results.

jbrown, nice! haha I will take your advice when I see a post from that guy Dave B.
The kit is on the car and should be ready for dyno'ing tomorrow morning.
The kit is going to include:
Non ballbearing ET 50 trim turbo, internally wastegated
Our cast, coated exhaust manifold
SS 2.5" 02 housing, with wastegate routed back in
Spal 12" HO fan
Oil feed line
Oil return line
That's it, that is a complete kit. The factory water feed line is simply bypassed using the longer of the two lines.
It looks like if this works out the price of the kit is going to come in at barely under $2000, so $1995 might be it. The price of the turbo was substantially more than I had expected and we thought we could use the stock fan, which we found out today that we could not.
Also this turbo has a 4" inlet with a ported shroud. So a reducer coupling is going to be needed, if I can squeeze on in the kits for the price target we are shooting for I will attempt to do so.

This turbo does not work with the stock manifold. So no, I won't be selling any of it seperately.
There was a lot of room with this turbo kit. It should fit with any radiator. The wastegate actuator actually ends up being behind the turbo between the turbo and block.

Dave,
Will the kit come with a substantially strong wastegate actuator spring? Id hope for somethign that doesnt easily blow open. Most people who get this arent going to be interested in running low boost so a 18psi minimum would be nice.
