We have a BB 50 trim kit ready to go. That's not a problem. It's just a matter of putting a 50 trim BB turbo on our existing kits, call and order if you are looking for that, $2995.

As for this cheaper non-ballbearing turbo kit here is the status.

We got the car about a week later than we originally thought we'd get it. No problem. Then we had a problem with manifolds, we ran out. So as of yesterday we just got manifolds back instock. We pulled the radiator, turbo etc. off of Shaun's car and started to re-install the new 50 trim kit. Next glitch was the downpipe on his car is something I have never seen. So we had to stop again and build a new downpipe. I am hoping sometime today the kit is atleast on the car completely. If that is the case next week it will go on the dyno.

It's looking really good so far.

Glad to hear it, keep us updated with any news, you have alot of potential buyers for that kit, and the sooner the better, stop me from wasting money on an IX turbo or other parts that would be replaced.

So, I got someone interested.
The 50trim kit will be external wastegate or internal? Im sure I read something about it somewhere but too lazy to look at all the pages again.

The 50trim will bolt right up to any aftermarket downpipe? And any pictures are in order I think.

The turbo kit is internally gated and tapped back into the 02 housing so it is quiet. The kit will bolt to almost any downpipe. This car that is in here now has some odd downpipe on it that I have never seen, it won't work with this one.

That must be Shauns car lol. I think he has the invidia downpipe or something funky. Will you be posting his results on the BR forums by any chance. He's one of the WV guys with a red evo (BR stage3 2.3 with all the fixins).

Crap you stated it was his car. Again, I'm pretty sure its the "invidia" downpipe he has.

The turbo is on, downpipe fit perfectly, 02 housing is killer. Water and oil lines are all that need to be finished up. It's pretty freaking sweet. I hope the performance is there.

Me to! Still debating between this and the 20G-LT.

We finished fabbing up the 02 housing with the wastegate port tapped back in. Fitment is pretty sweet, very simple and clean. I think we might be able to keep the stock fan, if that's the case it is going to keep the price down further.

Hopefully the car will be buttoned up on Monday, if I have time and it gets done it will get dyno'd on pump gas.

Pretty excited about this myself. This should be a great cheap alternative to going to a larger turbo.
