Im sure a 12-15 lb spring will be included, at least thats what most "high" pressure internally wastegated springs are set at. But it really doesnt matter because your going to have a aftermarket boost controller anyways

Here's a pic of my civic, David are you going to be using the same turbo? Divided T-3 Turbine Housing? Do you plan on building an S300 kit also?

yes, it does indeed matter. I'm sorry if the post and the question confused you, so I will state it again. I was not refering to the use of a ghetto WGA adjustment for controllilng boost, as yes obviously everyone will be running a boost controller of sorts. My question was, will you put a beefy badass spring in the WGA so that it doesnt blow open under turbine housing pressure, against a big *** flapper?

For example, our stocker has a big *** flapper, the bigger the flapper and the more pressure against that larger surface area, the more force it exerts against the WGA attempting to hold it shut. The weak spring in it is overpowered, causing less boost. The stock turbo is a flow limitation on top of a weak wastegate hence the taper and the ability to hold higher boost with a stronger WGA. I would love to see a cost efficient turbo kit on the market, but the fact that it will be using an internal makes me wonder if it will be problematic. Such as Forced Performance's DSM Greens attempting to use a internal wastegate with a weak actuator, and actually recommending rigging up springs on the flapper to the housing to help with it blowing open.

Sorry if it confused you.

Ohh in that makes it a little more clear, the internal on my 50 trim on my dsm is a 38mm and it works wonderfull no creep, very little spike.
Obviously the spring will have to be properly matched to the flapper size, and I would hope this offering will be atleast a 38mm internal aswell, I am a little worried about spike/creep or if it will even hold the boost, and if the wastegate/actuator is improperly sized I would be worried about the turbine actually making more boost than is shown on a manifold boost gauge, and the boost just being wasted and just blowing out the exhaust, causing more stress on the turbine. It really is all about the details

The actuator is a HD unit. I am verifying the actual PSI now.

It's funny how these threads go. Some say nobody cares about race gas so put a killer actuator on it then other all they want to know is what it makes on pump gas with a cat back etc., etc.

Bottom line is nothing is going to make everybody happy.

I can't do a turbo kit for under $2000 that uses a $400 wastegate on it, so this kit has an internal. If it's not what you want we offer a 50 trim kit that has the 44mm Tial external gate on it for $2995, that turbo is ballbearing too.

That's it, that is a complete kit.
Could you break down what's being charged for each part?

Will this kit be able to swap to a 35r with no modifications?

No I can't break it down, it's not available seperately so it doesn't matter.

The kit will NOT accept a GT35R with no modifications. The exhaust manifold will aceept our GT35R but that is the only part that interchanges.

I know, you can't see much but this is the best shot we can get of the turbo kit on the car. The nice thing is, it's pretty freaking stock looking. If the compressor housing wasn't polished you'd hardly notice it is in there. The wastegate actuator is behind the turbo between the turbo and the block. This makes a lot of room for a very thick large radiator.

I should be able to get this car on the dyno tomorrow. I'll have pump, pump+alky and probably race gas numbers on it then.

Before anyone asks. Yes, our heat shield will fit and yes the stock heatshield will fit. This kit with a stock heatshield would almost pass for stock appearing The car owner had this heatshield so we re-used it.

The manifolds will all be ceramic coated just as pictured here.

Thanks for the info Dave, and all the hard work. I'm chomping at the bit for those dyno #'s. Hope you're able to get to it tomorrow.
