Thanks for the info Dave, and thanks to Shaun for donating his car! Wish it would have worked out, but at least you tried it. Looking forward to the next set of results, though I may own a 20G-LT by then ;-)
Sucks to hear, but at least you didn't sugar-coat it. I would like to see what this turbo can do externally gated (as would everyone else here)... I think it might be worth some consideration.
Anyone wanting to test this turbo the manufacture of it is looking for someone to do further testing. I am sure I could pass this complete turbo kit onto someone else for a very cheap cost and you can then do all the testing you want, probably could end up with a killer "free" turbo from it.

The actuator is a HD unit. I am verifying the actual PSI now.
It's funny how these threads go. Some say nobody cares about race gas so put a killer actuator on it then other all they want to know is what it makes on pump gas with a cat back etc., etc.
Bottom line is nothing is going to make everybody happy.
I can't do a turbo kit for under $2000 that uses a $400 wastegate on it, so this kit has an internal. If it's not what you want we offer a 50 trim kit that has the 44mm Tial external gate on it for $2995, that turbo is ballbearing too.
