cool, can not wait for another turbo upgrade option from dave!!!!

dave, it is really cool what you do for the evo community - some might like you and some may not but damn ain't nobody comes out with cooler s**t than you!!!

as for the 50trim, since it is a little more flow than the 20lt, do you think with a reasonable setup it could go low 10's?

Trim is just a Ratio...You could have a tiny turbo and a huge turbo and depending on there wheel measurements both could be "50 trims".

Also most people say BB turbo's spool so much faster but in my experience this isn't the case, more like 5-10% faster. Any thoughts on this Dave?

What is with the "cracks" on what David is doing for the community? I think he is doing a great job at getting in some R&D in, and passing the findings off to us. What is with all the bitterness and hate on this site lately? look at his resume:

First 4G63 in the 12's, 11's, 10's, 9's, 8's and 7's.

WORLD'S QUICKEST EVO8-FIRST EVO8 IN THE 8'S, BISH.
2003 EVO8, 8.95 @ 163.00 mph

1988 Conquest (4G63) 8.61 @ 158 mph
1998 Eclipse, 7.81 @175 mph
1987 Grand National, 7.58 @ 175 mph
2003 EVO8, 10.19 @ 143.70 mph
2004 EVO RS, 9.97 @ 142.43 mph
2005 EVO MR, 1:37.53@ Mid Ohio w/chicane.
1:01.38 @ Beaver Run.

I could go on but what's the point?

No mention of "Pap smears" or gyno exams, but hell, I think he is doing a SERVICE to us, not a DIS-SERVICE. I want to see how this turbo unfolds. I think you are doing a great job, and Keep it up!!! I am one of the "old schoolers" who appreciate what you do for us, and that is the majority of us out there. There are just some chest-thumpers out there, who routinely got their lunch money pounded out of them in grade-school, that want to act "tuff" on here. I think those naysayers should just leave this site. I get tired of reading thru the garbage to see what is going on.

Keep us posted on your findings. Subscribing.

Show me a "50 trim" wheel that flows 58lbs/min.

I also know they do not have the ballbearing option but many have a sleeved bearing option and sometimes the sleeve should be much tighter for proper clearance. I've seen those with and without the water cooling option, more commonly refered to as "squirters", they can be quite messy so make sure you use a drip pan when doing an install on that type. The spool up can vary, this will depend on the bore and stroke used to try and get it going. The really nice thing is the map for them is quite easy to follow and there is no actual pressure ratio, most can take whatever you throw to them. In actuality most people will never use it to its full potential. This is kind of sad as a lot of times your buddies will end up using it too, sometimes a few guys at a time will take it out to beat on it.

Yeah, I am pretty freaking smart when it comes to those types. I'm not a rocket scientist though.
Dave you need to design and invent a "Gyno Dyno" Well...wait...bad idea, cause then all you would do all day is Testing I'll even volunteer to help you strap'em down.

The 35R isnt going to be much laggier than the 3065. You will still have good low-end even w/ a 35R with your stroker motor. Shoot, I would go w/ a BB T-67 p-trim if I had a stroker for sure. Good low-end with SICK top-end.
