Subscribed.

I was all set on a 20gLT, but a 50 trim kit for under $2000 sounds tempting.

I ask again-

Is the roughly $2,000 50 trim kit going to be the price for the customers when this kit is actually released to the public, or is that just the price for the donor car owner?

Being that this kit is in its infant development stages I wouldn't expect accurate pricing yet.

This is a specially designed 50 trim from a ne manufacturer we are trying. It is actually a 50 trim but I won't go into all the details until the kit is done and ready to sell.

Pricing is going to be under $2,000 for the final kit, might be $1999 but I am shooting for closer to $1800.

The price for the donor car is $2,000 and will include the tuning, installation and any fabrication work.

58lbs a min. Isnt that 60trim territory. How can it be a 50trim if it flows that much lol.

People DO need to use the "Thread Tools" button to subscribe!!

Why do people get so hung up on Trim? A GT42R is "just" a 56 trim so a 60 trim should flow more air right?

Hey David

I'll ship my car from the Cayman islands so you can test your turbo and send my car back in the low 10's, lol.

I'll pay shipping

Thank you very much for answering my question.

Wow I can't wait for the results, although I figure I am still a year away from doing a major turbo upgrade, I've been seriously considering your FP3065 and GT30R turbo kits, but now with a possibility of 50trim for $2,000 and less, I am very excited

The HKS GT3040 compressor is a 50 trim. It has a 58mm inducer and a 82mm exducer. It should flow pretty close to 58 lbs/min.

The diesel version of a GT4082 uses the same wheel.

^ We can be sure that this 50 trim kit wont include an HKS GT turbo considering that that turbo costs about as much as the whole kit Dave is putting togther.
