If you're talking about 20 psi at 4200 rpm in 3rd gear, yours is the only 2.0 EVO able to do it (check the 35r spool up thread with all the logs). Also, you not gaining much, if any spool up from the timing. I've tested my 35r in a range of about 20 degrees of timing just to see how it reacts. The least timing spooled the turbo the fastest, but drivability was much worse.
I'm still trying to figure out where I said I had the advantage over a 35R? I only stated that I enjoy having spool lower in the RPM and that I didn't want to go bigger so I wasn't playing catch up with the stock IX's off the line.
So unless you have a point to make about something I said????
After having the 35r for almost a year. I dont think that there is NOTHING wrong with that turbo. Just have to be in the right gear@ the right time. I made almost 460 on pump with that turbo. full boost was seen around 4800rpms. On Race fuel the car is simply an ANIMAL. Thats all.
