Rear drive shaft removal

OK so here is the dilema. My goodridge passenger brake line has been rubbing on my halfshaft. so the cv boot has a big tear in it and is leaking grease. i am doing a new brake install so my caliper and rotor are already off. i removed the main axle nut but do what else do i need to remove to take out the half shaft?
any help would be appreciated.

1)push on the half shaft to make sure it will silde through the hub easily (you should just be able to push on it with your palm.)
2) yuou have to unbolt one of the ball joints. I THINK it is the one where the upper control arm meets the knuckle. then sepperate the upper control arm from the knuckle
3) bend the knuckle slightly towards you and to towards the rear of the car and finagle the half shaft out of the hub

to get the ball joint off the knuckle, put the nut back on unitl it is flush with the top of the bolt, smack the nut with a hammer, this way you dont damage the threads

okay, for the life of me none of the joints will come off of the knuckle. appreciate all of the help so far. I took off the sway bar mount to help. Any more suggestions would help a lot.
