Sorry didnt read hole tread . . . Beter qestion is : Is there any stock evo that screw the clutch with low miles ?

Probably the mitsu wasn't considering moding evo w/out aftermarket clutch and made the clutch fit perfomance or they didn't done enough R&D !

Personally The clutch burns quickly because of the restrictor valve.
Without that the clutch wont have a gradual engagement.

I burnt an aftermarket clutch cause I didnt remove the restictor and did a few spirited launches.

Sorry I havent read all the posts, but I just wanted to chime in on this

I just got rid of my '03 evo. It had 54,500 miles on the stock clutch and it still felt like it did the day I got it. Maybe I was lucky because I definatly beat the car from time to time.

Mines at 33,100 bought with 20 miles on it and I finally noticed something wierd today. I was on the road by my lonesome just getting off work as I notice a primered honda civic hatchback.
I was bored since I just got off work. I said the hell with it, if this guy tries anything I'm going to take him! Sure as **** he tried, I noticed he purged his "NOS" through the hood and I was like OH HELL NO!!! We were going about 35 miles on the road when he tried to run it and so I dropped to second gear. I floored it until it was closed to red line and then switched to third and I noticed he was 17 million cars away from me! but then I tried to slow down, I pressed the clutch and downshifted to second and notice my car made this wierd noise...
It sounded like it was still running, even after trying to down shift... I tried to put it in gear and still that noise, like my car was reving... FInally it caught it and didn't notice anything else...
That **** scared me, now I'm just looking around for a good deal on ACT for just in case... And mind you besides all that I baby my car!

Mine went at 22k. The car was never launched and still sh$t the bed and 22k. I dont really like my current setup either though. If mitsu had put a quality clutch in the car from the get i would have bought another OEM when it went.

Still the stock one with 33k miles and Warrtalon/Buschur package for 6k miles.
BTW, TCase broke before the clutch...
