^...well nice question bro.....that's a new timing belt I have on there.
There was a thread some time ago...with that same question..

some guys were saying that they ran in excess of 550whp on the stock timing belt without problems.
Others were saying that they had the stock belt damage and decided to go aftermarket.
It was back and forth.....

I have no clue which to use...but I may end up going with a power enterprise kevlar belt before the motor is placed in the car.

i know all the evo's that run 600+ hp over here in dubai run the HKS timing belt..little costly but very well worth the money..i put more than 20k Kms on it and it still looks new.

I'm not even concerned that it's costly...far as I'm concerned I spent over $8K on a shortblock and I definitely dont want anything happening to it because of a bad choice in timing belts

Wow, thanks for bringing this to my attention guys. For some reason I didnt even think about the timing belt. I guess Ill go ahead and get the HKS one. Has anyone heard about any problems with the HKS one or is this the recommended one to upgrade to in excess of 600?

It's the small things I'm having a headache over..

I don't even know what boost controller to use..
buschur says manual controllers are the way....esp at higher boost levels since they are more accurate?

I assume you're using the evc

If you're running AEM, why not use the AEM boost control solenoid to control boost? I just went from an MBC to the AEM unit, and so far it looks good.

AMS has completed the motor assembly. We have requested that they go ahead and send us everything so we can begin assembly on the motor. At this time we are just waiting for AMS to finish testing on the HTA37R. Once that is done, they are sending us the 1st one and that will also go on the car. However, once we receive the turbo I want to have it sent off to have the hot parts heat coated. It looks like we are getting very close now.

i am stickin with my Greddy Profec B Spec II...this unit is a very good one...i have used it up to 2 bar and it has performed flawlessly...i do not have experience with MBC's so cant give you any input on that...however out of the EBC's i have used i could tell you the Greddy unit has performed the best.

cant wait for the results in 3 weeks 11secEVO7!
