I also have a new clutch to break in, so I cant just beat on it from the get go. About 90% of the break in can be done on the dyno, but my tuner wants me to drive the car around on a mild tune for a week or two and put some more miles on it, which I think is a good idea. Then Ill bring it back and we can do some high hp tuning with it. I think with the money going into this build we both rather be on the safe side and make sure everything is done properly and in the best interest of the car in the long run.

To answer the other question by dxbevo9, Im running the 9.25:1 aswell.

I'll definitely be inviting anyone local in the area to come out for the final dyno pulls, Ill keep everyone posted on the status of the build. As you all can imagine I am really excited about this build.
sounds awesome man, keep us informed, very excited for your numbers!

Hey guys, havnt updated this is awhile so thought I would get everyone back up to date. We are just waiting for the major parts to start coming in. I believe AMS told us it would be another 1-2 weeks or so. It appears we are getting close to receiving them.

In the meantime, I thought you guys may want to see a few pics from the breakdown including the blown piston from Cyl. #4. Enjoy!

My car awaiting the new power:

Old motor out of the car:

Head is amazingly great working condition, no damaged parts whatsoever:

This is the result of detonation...

My old setup was a FP green/cams/ all supporting mods and it happened while running on meth. I believe it was tuned for 25 or 26 psi. I dont believe it was the setup or the amount of boost that caused that to happen. I will know more after we tear apart the meth kit, but its possible it was a problem with the pump, or it could have just been a problem with the tune, I dont know at this time, but we will find out shortly.

Im hoping the build will be done in about a month. As I said before, we are just waiting for the parts to come in, one they do we can start assembly.

Make sure you hit me up when you finish your build. We usually have a group that goes to test-n-tune/events at local tracks.
Looking good!

Ya, Im really excited to see what the RR motor is capable of. Im expecting it to be better than the normal 2.3L from AMS, which is nothing short of amazing already.

I believe me and 11sec7 are the only customers who have bought this motor. He is in the carribean. I believe he just received his and will be installing it and breaking it in very shortly. I hope to receive mine in the next 2 weeks, then the fun will start.
