In regards to the ebc's mentioned you might want to double check the max boost they can read/function at vs. what you plan to run as max boost.

AEM's boost control is limited to the map sensor used for the ems unit, while the EVC is limited to like 36psi, Profec b is limited to 43 or so, just an FYI.

Hmmm, Ive never heard that before. Im going to have to look into that. Ive already bought the EVC and I plan to run above 36psi, and my tuner has already told me he plans to run higher than 36, he knows all the units very well so Im not sure. Im definitely going to have to look into it. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Just an update on the above issue, the EVC is capable of running higher than 36psi, but I believe I have to do something or buy something else in order to do it. This has been confirmed with my tuner who contacted HKSusa about it.

36 PSI seams kind of limited for such a high end EBC anyway. Good to know higher boost than this is achievable. Maybe this is a reason why many Evos run AEMs stuff, because they always thought the EVC was limited to 36 PSI? Hmm.

Thanks guys, ya it was a relief to find out that I wasnt limited to 36psi, especially considering my setup and the fact that Ive already paid and ordered everything on the list. Parts should be here next week (crosses fingers)

Hey, guys I need all those high boost guru's help. We thought we were going to be able to work with the EVC, but it appears that I will not be able to use it. I need some opinions on top quality EBC's that can hold 45 psi. Money is not an issue, but I need something that I can use on the street and wont have to constantly tinker with. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks guys.

I'll have to check this out. Do you happen to know what boost this is capable of running? Also where can I find one of these, I just need someone to point me in the right direction. I google'd it and when I pulled up the details it looks like the controller still can only hold around 36psi, but just comes without the display. Sean I need your expertise here. When you have tuned cars pushing more than 36psi, have you used the EVC before? What other boost controllers have you used at these boost levels. Thanks Sean
