have we got hard data on these turbo's yet? or are they still in development?

 

After talking with Charlie and Chad yesterday my interest is very peaked about this turbo. I am just wondering exactly where this thing compares to the FP products as far as CFM, peak numbers, lag, etc. I mean does this fall between the Green and Red or is it slightly less than a Green or what? Basically it sounds like a sweet turbo but for the money would it be better for me to try and pick up a used Green and save a couple hundred bucks? I guess I just have to be patient and see how the final BBK performs when a bunch are sold and tuned.

Also, if I were to buy one of these new direct from CBRD, I would have to get larger injectors, a IX turbo install kit, some type of new LICP to mate to my BR Deluxe fmic, and a tune. Oh and I still have stock head studs, so will I have to upgrade with the increased head flow this thing will produce? That is all going to cost some coin and it would be nice to know how much it will cost and what that money will get me.

Great job buddy, your car is an animal! The BBK impressed me today as well, never thought I would be where I was on straight 93 oct. pump!

Nevermind the fact I had a spark problem.....I will post some videos of yesterday blowing the spark out at 30psi!

Definitely. Will have AEM ems on the car very soon and can't wait to see what we can do once the nagging stock ix ecu is out of the picture

 

has anyone put any numbers down with the bbk with the upgraded turbine wheel? i looooooooove these turbos.

 

I think Caleb is the only one that has one at this point. The guys were saying yesterday they have the new turbine wheels coming in very soon though.

Very intersted to see what the full turbine will do....seems the Lite is making a pretty strong case for 'neverminding' the full BBK and saving a few bucks at the moment
