What's up with the twin-flapper on the Red? Andy particular reason for that? I was under the impression that the singles were better?

565 (peak HP)/12 (max effort HP per lb/min flow)/.78 (22% dyno loss est for DJ)= 60.4 lb/min LOW ESTIMATE.

540/12/.75 (25% loss est for MD) = 60 lb/min even

12 HP per lb/min is pushing it, use 11 and plug it in.
I think 12 HP per lb/min is reserved for those from OKC, Sewickley PA, and Puerto Rico.

I've always heard that thing referred to as 58 lb/min around here, and we always publish a low number so nobody gets disappointed when it actually does better.

Here's a couple more pics. My standard porting bench isn't usually a box, but it works in a pinch.

My way of keeping things straight, ...or curved.

So, does that mean we met our goal? For those who don't know you, GrocMax is the one from FP that has helped teach me as I've tried to increase my knowledge base. If he says it, mark your book and take notes. Thanks Scott for the many phone calls and effort from your end. We're not through using you up, but not until I've gotten some rest. Thanks so much for the patience.

9sec9, how much difference do you think your porting made? I am getting one of these and am trying to figure out if I should have it done, or leave it be.

Musketeer 2, Don't even consider putting the Red on without porting it. I think the porting (without having a way to really measure it, kind like the butt dyno) has got to be worth 20-25 whp or more.

Another way of keeping track of what's going on. It'll keep us from yelling "ROBERT, HEEEELLLLPPPPPP!!!!"

And now, Breaking the 500 whp Barrier on a stock appearing turbo!

I agree. When the light is hooked up, it's really nice. The best part is it actually has a purpose that keeps you in the power range.
