Ok, yes, yes a hack job of an edit I know. However, if you guys what to talk about things other than related to post #1, start your own thread. We need to clean up and keep relevant info in the proper threads. No wonder the newbies can't find what they are looking for with a simple search.

It is silly to compare a entry level inexpensive unit like the 62/62 against the premium priced HTA - well depending on the results it may not be that silly
Test away!

IMHO the first test that needs to be done is the 62/62 against the regular GT35 to see if the 62/62 can give Gt35 like performance at a slighly less expensice price point which from what I have been told was the idea.

I do think it would be great to see though the diff between non billet wheels in the reg 35r vs both hta and 6262

My opinion is that we obviously know the 62/62 with the AMS custom compressor housing out performs the HTA37R, I believe they already performed that test.
We also know from their testing that the 62/62 with the AMS custom compressor cover out performs the standard GT35R with 150-200rpm more lag, I believe they also performed that test.
Which leaves the last question, will the 62/62 with the AMS custom compressor housing out perform the FP HTA35R, I believe this is the test we have been waiting for.
In speculation, I would say no, will it make a little more peak power, well if the flow characteristics are right, it is a bigger turbo so why not...
Where will it make this increase in power, I would say at peak rpm as most bigger turbos do... Again this is my speculation and not to be taken to heart.

Personally I don't think a different compressor housing is going to make the 62mm PTE wheel create more power. But I suppose that would be the reason to do the test. I don't have it in my budget to run the test, sorry.

What we also would like to know is if the standard precision cover makes any difference over the AMS cover also.. PTE 6262 with ported cover may have the same results.,.

Who cares? Its up to them if they want to do compare the two turbo's. I don't know why everyone wants to throw there two cents in about it. Maybe they will run a test or maybe they won't. It's up to them want they want to do.
