If you drive your Evo like you should, you should barely get 180 miles to a tank. . .at least that's my philosophy!
Since my 0-3 times was referring to WOT, then its safe to assume that by boost you mean wide open throttle as well. With that in mind.....

So in other words your philosophy is to die young and kill as many innocent people as possible in the process?

I'm not the most innocent driver, but I do try to minimize the risk of accidents.

Well, I guess I don't drive my evo like I should then, haha. I usually get 220 on average

From page 3, my RS runs our turbo back 3", EVO9 JDM rear exhaust. So, yes it is v-band and has the bullet muffler in the center where the cat goes.

The other 3 amigo's have a variety of our sets up. Some with Magnaflow's, some with the same thing I have. All of them are slightly different.

From page 4, thanks for bringing up Memo's car. You are correct, that car had crazy power and it was quiet. It was shockingly quiet actually. Yes, we can put the bullet in the middle where the cat goes and run the Magnaflow in the rear. There would be a charge for the additional muffler.

I get tired of the noise too, to be honest. I guess I am getting old. I do like to hear the car though, but my RS is flat out obnoxious. Driving steady on the highway with the windows down it isn't bad but I wouldn't want to commute long distances in the car on a regular basis.

Have you thought about running 2 mufflers as well on your car?

Im not sure if I mentioned it before, since Dave didnt mention it, Dan Buschurs car that went 9.6 this year runs 2 bullet mufflers and is also fairly quiet. You can still make sick power with these cars with 2 mufflers. The exhausts Buschur makes are so light that adding another muffler is most likely still going to flow better, but be more quiet than a HFC and muffler.

If im incorrect Dave, please correct me.

Not sure but the Buschur is without a doubt lighter

so, would the vband with a bullet (instead of cat) and a magnaflow be much more $ than the standard vband?
