If you're keeping the street car theme and are planning to put a decent size turbo. This t3 goodness I am working on would be perfect for you.

I already replied on Buschur Forums but...

2.3L
Red
mild cams
stock ECU
meth
QUIET exhaust

Try and make it start, idle, and sound STOCK. Then be able to peel off a 10 in the same exact trim.

I don't really think the Magnum lived up to what it could be.

I vote for a Road-Racer. Lots of competitors, actual racing events where the car meets the classes, sanctioning bodies that organize events continual development of parts........plus its an arena where you guys are relatively new at!

btw, I would like to see it WITHOUT a cop or twin disc clutch.

I am serious when I say this thing should act JUST like a stock car except for be fast as heck.

If you roll up and pop the hood on a friday night (at a track ofcoarse) people should think you have a barely modified car and not be scared to throw down some cash that they will inevitable lose.

When you see a cop or hear a twin disc rattle you pretty much know you are dealing with a FAST car.

Dave I think a lot of the ideas you are getting have been done. 2.3, Red, etc... What I think is improving on what you already do best. Make big power. But do it better.

I'd say figure out how to get the same amount of power your used to getting out of a 35R turbo but having it spool at least 1500 rpm sooner. Divided housing, T3/T4 turbo, stroked, diff CR?, mid range cams, e-85, stock sized valves, mivec head, etc...

Make 2009 the year you have dozens of customers going into the 9's but they all hit 30 psi at 4k not 5k. This seems to me to be the natural evolution.

I use a triple push exedy now and I have to say it is the easiest clutch to drive I've ever had in my Evo. I've had Cusco 6-puck single, 3 puck Exedy single, and twin exedy. The triple push is very nice to drive.

I know I don't need to tell you that David but was just saying I like that choice.

Is this car going to be running at 1/4 mile, road race, auto cross at all?

or only to really drive back and forth from home to work and take kids to school?

Maybe just leave the internals like STM or maybe add just add ARP's fasteners to see if you can beat the record on stock block and make it to 9's (but I guess won't be stock block if there is ARP's)

Really...you think the push style exedy triple is easier to drive than a standard pull style exedy twin. hmm interesting info.
