ALL HKS cams have roughly the same lift as the factory cams. The HKS cams are NOT high-lift cams, and all HKS sets have the same lift.

ALL HKS cams have mild ramp rates, and are intended to be compatible with the factory valvetrain. The HKS cams trade some power for convenience.

The downside here is the factory valvesprings are no world-beaters when new, and after 100,000 miles of use, may be getting tired.

The lift on the HKS 280's is very mild; it is not a requirement to to upgrade your springs/retainers to use these cams. My friend put around 50k miles on his HKS280/stock springs before changing his setup and going more aggressive.

Not on any of the HKS Evo cams. Yes on other higher lift and aggresive ramp rate cams.
