Another TT S205 getting mapped with big spec

This is what we need on the Tomei loads of dyno data. if 2 have been fitted Circa how many units have been bought and awaiting fitting mapping 3/4?

 

I know there are other people with this turbo, if you see this please share!

 

nice hope to see some good numbers you put down with that set up i was gunna get that turbo but i just went with a ported fpred turbo.

 

what i have read about that 205 is that it starts to spool around 4500. but with some nice power. where the red is about 3700 with about the same power. one lancerregister they are still saying the red to be a superior turbo over the 205

 

how much this project cost for you?

 

can we please see some more numbers about this turbo.

to sum it up. it is an awesome turbo. in between a green and shy of a red. perfect powerband, with very very good mid range. and btw, i am selling mine . ready to go for big power on a different setup.

This is so weird this turbo has the potential to utter brilliance but;

. If you speak to venders they say its an awesome turbo but we are sold out and there is a back order on these units. I spoke to a seller and they said it would take 4 weeks that was 9/10 weeks back.

. If you speak to people with the unit they say its the best thing since sliced bread great spool and good power but they want to sell it for a bigger turbo??

. There are no real dyno results that are for daily drivers as where this turbo is pitched for surely?? a dyno on pump fuel with out Meths on 1.8 bar??

How many are installed and running on this form & mapped? as we dont have any in the UK.

i say forget the arms. people are wanting to upgrade already for more power to the red. i say go with the red if you want a stock appering.

 

If i were going to give up on the Tomei i'd defiantly go Turbo Technics S205 as said previously FP red is to unreliable in the UK and i'd say the red would probably be a bit quicker spooler, but i'd rather a 2bar 500bhp strong turbo.

if one likes all around response go with the Tomei, if you want to run E85 or meth go with the Red.

I am sure even with the Tomei arms and meth can make some serious power, and Tomei will have more usable torque

 

well when tomei owners are selling theirs for a red there is a reason. the red is making more power over the tomei.

As for the tt s205 i was reading on lancer register that a lot of people there would chose the red over the s205 even with the problems the red has over in the UK.
