I was thinking of purchasing a B&B exhaust but I didn't know that it would give me problems. Thank you for advise us. I heard bad Things about Perrin too.
Now I'm thinking about Ralliart Cat Back. Is this system trouble free?
Somebody here installed this system?

I installed the b&b catback a few months ago. I had no fitment problems with it at all. It took me no more then 30 minutes. I would recommend it to anyone. Sorry to hear you guys have problems with the exhaust. Maybe just a bad batch?

I have the Perrin DP and Perrin cate delete pipe with the CEL and the B&B catback exhaust. I tried to do it myself and it is tough to get the last section to the exhaust to come together when lying on your back. But on a lift, it was so much easier. YEAH!> I love it. It works great. The gasket that it came with would not fit on the bolts without forcing it on and breaking the gasket, but some black paste like silcone cured it right up. Bolts down great as long as you have the right tools.

Anything new on this? I'm buying a slightly used B&B turbo back system off a dude who had it installed for only 100 miles. Just want to make sure the same problems don't come up with mine. From what I know he got it just a few months ago- so if it were a bad batch or bad preliminary design the piece I am getting should be a newer one.

I think it was a small number that had this problem.

I had the bb downpipe when it first came out, and it rubbed the frame making metal noise once in a while. Sounds so ghetto like something is broken in the car. Anyways, I put my old stock downpipe back in because i couldnt handle the fuct up noise and besides I will be bringing in my car for the recall at the dealer this week.

Anyways, the DP ends are alll rusted. I thought this thing is stainless steal? I emailed BB about it the noise issue, and they tell me the noise is because the extra airflow from the downpipe. Their response made me feel disrespected. I supported them by buying their first downpipe product when they first released it, and all I want is this thing to work fine.

Anyways I emailed them to see if they are willing to replace it.

They emailed me and told me to get a RMA # and send it back. I hope shipping wont be expensive, and plus I have no clue how to get a box to send this back.

Hmmm well let's hope they take care of you... Luckily if I have any problems with this exhaust I just can drive down to them- they're about 30 minutes from my house.
