idel problem

idel problem

hey guys i dont know if something is wrong or if its normal but lets starts y saying my car run perfect... without the A/c but when i turn my A/C on my idel drops to like 700rpm and in between shifts the idel drops fast so shifting sucks, any ideas what i should do or if its normal or not????

what do you shift at and whats it dropping too before you put it in the next gear? and has this happened after your tune or always?

always happened... i hardly use my A/C since im on flordia but when it rains i need it and the rpm drop is a killer... not sure exactly what it dros to illhave to check tomorrow but its enough to make the car bog/hop (if you no what i mean) after shifting into th next gear

hmm i believe that there is a desired idle with a/c on table in the tuning program maybe thats been played around with? i mean my idle drops a little bit with my a/c on but i believe thats normal its not really a big drop. i would take this to your tuner or mechanic and have them check it out

You can adjust your idle in your rom for when the air conditioner is on. If it bogs down that much bump up your idle using ECUflash.
