Correct, only cutting involved was the positive wire to the breaker in the trunk. All stock wire remain intact.

I may have to do this and get rid of my mini battery. For the winter months I have a jumper box in my trunk hooked up to the power wire that goes to my amp. Works good for now but its not permanent. Pretty getto also.

FYI... for those of you who are relocating your battery... put the battery on the passenger side of the car. I've corner weighted enough of these cars to know the LF is the heaviest and the RR is the lightest.

Or as far forward, close to middle of the car as possible to keep the weight closer to the center of the car. I put my trunk mounted mini battery between the shock towers on the floor of the trunk.

Nice install, looks like you reused the stock battery and tie down?, I'm assuming that fits with the summit box.
