How much power will my setup make [Mega Merge]
Its the "AMS Replica" FMIC, I know it would be nice to get a buschur or something similiar but I keep questioning myself, will it make that much of a difference? I was making over 400 on my talon when I had a standard green on it back in the day with a Ebay fmic.
Convince me please lol

unfortunately I don't know of any before/after data involving that fmic so we'll likely never know. surely it's better than a stock fmic but I seriously doubt it's as good as the real thing. If it were they wouldn't' be giving them away.
You would need to measure the pre/post air intake temps of the fmic to learn how it's doing. The good FMIC like the Buschur don't see much of a rise is temps by the end of the pull.
Hey guys, Im getting a few parts from Buschur at the end of the week then taking it over to their shop to have a little work done... im wondering what I should be expecting to make on their dyno... I talked to Dan @ Buschur and he said 400awhp is possible on their dyno with the new setup.
2005 Evo 8 with stock turbo & 10.5 hotside...
I made 278awhp ON BUSCHURS DYNO (just found the dyno sheet) a couple years ago when big Al from dynoflash tuned me with:
Full Buschur TBE - no cat
Full Buschur IC pipes
Buschur Intake & k/n
MBC
Buschur mini battery kit
1G bov
I didnt have a fuel pump & Al said that it probablty cost me around 20awhp
Im getting the following:
Full Buschur Street FMIC & lower IC pipe to fit
Walbro 255
ARP Head studs
Buschur fabricated 02 housing
HKS 272s intake & exhaust
Timing Belt
New 1G BOV - mine is leaky & its pissing me off
Im having the cams, headstuds & timing belt done @ Buschur bc i dont have time to do them... and David is going to tune this thing...
Let me know what you guys think... i know my brothers old 91 talon with fully built buschur everything with a 35R kit made 378awhp - VERY CONSERVITIVE TUNE & only 18-19 psi...
If i can make 360 - 400 on Buschurs dyno ill be VERY happy

300whp on Al's dynojet would be around 260whp on Buschurs dyno. Granted my memory serves me right, theres about a 15ish% difference from BR's mustang dyno to most dynojets.
What kind of fuel will you be tuned on, E85? If so, then yes 360-380 should be about right. If youre on 93 oct, dont count on that much.

Just dont get your hopes up. Those mustang dynos are heartbreakers. Im gonna say your around 375-390. You have around the same mods as 4g63girl with the exception she has bigger injectors and kelfords instead of HKS cams. And on STM's dyno (pretty much same as buschur) she got 386hp.

Hey guys, I posted previously and I'm adding two more parts to the install. I was wondering if I could reach 450 whp by adding the following along with the parts I mentioned before :
Ported/Polished Ceramic Coated Oem Ex. Manifold
Ported Oem Throttle Body
Ported/Polished Ceramic Coated Oem Ex. Manifold
Ported Oem Throttle Body
I'm shooting for around 450 whp, could I reach that goal with the following setup being tuned at 93 pump:
FP Red w/ ported housing
custom intercooler piping
custom intercooler w garrett core
18psi actuator
hallman manual boost controller
Tial BOV
Greddy Ti catback
helix downpipe
works hi flow cat
kelford 272 cams w/ gsc beehive springs
nvidia o2 housing
walboro 255 fuel pump
pte preciscion 1200 cc injectors
Buschur intake pipe w/ blitz filter
Exedy triple sr clutch w/ flywheel
FP Red w/ ported housing

18psi actuator
hallman manual boost controller
Tial BOV

Ok, this is my first post on this particular forum and although I agree with most of you about guesstimating dyno numbers, I am afraid that I may be pushing myself over the limit with this build I have planned. I want a DD run on 93 around 22psi with around 400 - 425. I know that I can hit it but I don't want to be over that. Will this list put me over the edge? If so, then it looks like I'm gonna be saving some money and reducing this build.

on 93 octane and 22psi you'll likely be right on the money. However, your tuner can adjust the power to keep it within spec and I se eyou have Buschur ECUflash in the list, keep in mind that their 400awhp/400tq will be about 13% more powerful than the same 400/400 on a dynojet and likely too much for the stock bottom end.

Save some money man, many people are doing 400-425 with stock turbos. A good front mount intercooler, lower intercooler pipe, cams, injectors, 255, E85, and a good tune will get you pretty close especially on a dynojet. Granted you will be running a higher boost, but should be more concerned with the torque output.
Thanks for the quick replies. TJ, I would definitely skimp on the upgraded turbo but I don't want to tune to E85. I'm in the military and I move around quite a bit. I don't want to be screwed someday and find out that where I'm stationed doesn't have E85. Like in North Carolina.
Chris, do you think I should skip on a few of the ported items and put the money into the bottom end then?
