There was some discrepancy in the dyno times and hp given. 6hp came out of DB's head, and from the posts of his immutrity and uncouth behavior you can't really trust anything that gets fired out of there. 12hp and 26 ft lbs of tq. actually came from the dyno. And we do believe 26ft lbs is a bunch. We do not know how it was achieved besides what we do on our end. Send out a high quality head. We don't work on cars, or dyno cars we machine cylinder heads..and are one of the best in our craft.

There is certainly a price difference. We use a more expensive valvetrain in most of our packages, but we also sell the Manley like is in the BR stuff...and sell that for $1899. The price dropped and is not on the website. The Ferrea head we push is more expensive at $2199, but you pay for quality. The differences are the Manley is made of a inconel mix called EV8 on both sides and the Ferrea is EV8 on the intake and numonic 90 on the exhaust, which is a higher grade of inconel thus making it more money. The Manley spring kit also does not replace the stock locater like all the other spring kits so there is a $80 difference in price there. The Ferrea replaces everything, from lock to locater. And is used by most of the top sport compact racers, and we know that because we service quite a few of them.

And you pay for the quality of the porting and machining. HeadGames has brand new state of the art equipment unlike Wakeman Auto and Tractor that does the BR head. Heads are milled on the same mill most of Nascar shops switched to years ago and not a broach. The BR head does not have a deck surface like this

The BR head might have us on price but their port finish looks nothing like the HeadGames head...much more time removing material and talent making it straight, valve jobs always being improved on and getting it looking good.

let me clarify - not that the times are made up - it's the fact that 'world record' itself is self made... It seems like there's a new 'world record' everyday on this forum lately...

example, worlds fast blue, mivec, stock appearing turbo, with stock rims record...

When you hold a NHRA, NMCA, or NOPI WORLD Record, it means a lot more...

^^ i completely agree with him but buschurs products have been proven in the evolution community.

This forum is of evolutions so thats why his recorders stand.
Buschur Does not outsource different claims/records of other vehicles that have nothing to do withthis forum.

Im not saying that headgames head is no good or better, but either way you recieve a good product that does make power.

But either way props to both companies

Does the F1 intake manifold flow the same cfm through each runner?

I know the stock intake does not and there are some companies that cut it open trying to get the cfm more equal through each runner and weld it back up. Even after all of this work, the cfm is still not equal. I am debating whether I should save a few bucks on a modified stock manifold or get the F1. I guess if the runners flow equal cfm then it's probably worth it?

Not to mention some of these "world record cars" would not be able to make a legal pass at such sanctioned events.....(didn't say all but there are some).

I am sure the effects of the economy + factor in competition for business = a lot of panties to get bunched up which in turn are causing pissing contests whenever someone dares mention they could have a superior product. I know in the construction industry we are hurting - were down 6.5 million in work from last year and the bidding wars are becoming cut throat.

oh yeah intake manifolds......

Lord,

Eric couldn't be more right.....

Really thought this was about the intake manifolds... This thread was pretty good up til the head information started to get out of hand. Why don't you guys start a Head Games / Buschur / AMS CNC'd head thread?!
