Ryu-Im chasing your record and theirs. lol. Hopefully i can get it at some point.

I have full confidence in STM.
I see that. I'm still chasing after 9s as well. I'm finally bug free with my setup and am just waiting on a rain free day to hit up the track again. I'm 50whp up from my last problem free. Track day. My only suggestion is to ditch the 80mm comp housing. Good luck.

Why is this? Have you seen better results with the non-ported cover? I know a ported shroud does give up some theoretical efficiency to reduce comp surge, just didnt know if it was a significant amount.

Honestly, I think without anymore power and just a better setup it will get very close and with some awesome driving it may get there. We have taken out so much weight so far and will post some more pics today.

Good luck with the project guys!

I really love what you did with the intake! Wish I had room to do the same but the freaking acd pump is in the way!
Has anyone figured a way to relocate it?

All that will be done to the head/motor is kelford 272 cams and head studs. We are leaving everything else stock.

Mod list as of right now is
Kelford 272's
FP Red 80mm housing
AEM
Megan Coilovers
Buschur Race FMIC
Buschur Race TBE
1050 injectors
STM Tuned.

Some of that might change with this build

Ryu- Why get rid of the 80mm?

Is it cool to run the Kelfords with the stock spirings? I have a set as well but am waiting to get some stiffer valve springs.

the car looks good and STM always does a great job... Those the car still run stock brakes? Cause i have been looking for the answer on what offset those 16'' slips need to be to fit with a 20mm space on the front... sorry for the off topic post... just curious

We are going to use the factory short block. So yes the stock rod bolts will be used. We will not have to spin the engine that high as we have a taller tire.

Will you be using the 9 (1-2) and 8 (3-4) gears with the stock 4.56 FD?

What's the OD on those hoosiers? Interesting! my 245/45/17's don't cut it for traction or for going through the traps at a reasonable speed!
