What's the OD on those hoosiers? Interesting! my 245/45/17's don't cut it for traction or for going through the traps at a reasonable speed!

Stock Evo 8 tranny with a set of 26.1 hoosiers.

No problem. With the 26 inch tall tire you can rev to 8k and be doing just about 140 mph with a stock 8 tranny.

The drop ins are worth it in a lot of cases. If you take out your motor you will be sorry you did not do them. These blocks are expensive.

Def interested to see what happens next? Emery when you were braking records there was no FP Black....why not attempt this recordo n the Black instead of the red....a lot of potential customers will be going with the black.

He isnt attempting this with the Black because i just bought the red about 4 months ago and i dont want to buy a black. We will be pushing the limits of the car. Once the Red gets tapped out we will put something else in there. Hopefully thats in 2011 or something like that. lol. This going fast stuff gets expensive.

When this project started we Asked Chris how far he wanted to take it. Let me tell you its great when you have a customer say Lets do it! The whole car for the most part has beed disassembled and is going back together as I type. It has lost a lot of unwanted weight and will loose more. The car will still retain full interior for driving comfort but will be very light at race weight. I'm glad to see it coming along and can not wait to see her go down the track again.

When this car went 10.7 it still had EVERY thing in it. Even the emissions stuff was still in the car along with bumper beam and so on.

Its just as great to have a shop back you and say lets take on this project. I have been in constant communication with STM whether it be Emery, Austin, Cory, or Brian every day about this. Asking me do you want this or how do you feel about this. I just cant believe how fast it is being done. Most things are done they are just waiting for me to get money to buy new parts. lol. I couldnt ask for such a better job to be done to my car than what they are doing.
