i bet you all the shops that sell built motors are all sitting around right now just waiting for this guy to throw a rod and order a new motor.

Built or not, things happen. Hell, I probably have over 200 passes on my stock motor with over 500 whp.

If we can get this car to go 9's on a stock motor imagine what its gonna do with a new Buschur motor.

Justa4banger- We arnt sure how much it will weigh at the moment. Weight is still being taken out. With some more hopefully soon. I am gonna try to get rid of the heavy stock seats at some point so i can get some Sparcos in there.

The stock block sooner or later will go and i know that. Its not like your teling me anything new. And when it does, it will be a BUSCHUR built block with all parts, work, and tune done by you guess it STM.

And we arnt boasting how much HP we are going to make on the stock block. We are just pushing it to the limits trying to break records. Isnt that part of the fun of racing? setting goals?

I say pushing the stock parts to their limits is one of the best challenges around. I used to go to import drags when the cars where pushing limits of stock engine block and trans the car came with. I stopped going when I saw the hobby turn into big business. essentially imports turned into american drag machines with import longblock and a fibre shell resembling the import it represented.

Not sure how or where anyone is laughing at anyone. We made the record and we want to break it!

I guess he thinks its funny that your trying to get the most out of your setup and push the limits of a street car. Hes probably just jealous of your build, and the quality that's going into it. I think its nice to see people doing what your doing. Its one thing to just go and buy all the best parts, build a motor, slap a huge turbo on it, and call it a day. The way your going with it is in my opinion is more of a test of the motor and part matching to the perfect setup. IMHO with evos it almost seems that less is more performance wise. The right stuff can get you farther than alot of the wrong ones or something like that...lol

I Think its neat to see. I sure as hell would be building the motor first, but then again thats been done over and over, so i guess if your daring to be different then this is the way to do it.

Good luck
