Your not the only one that wants to break it. Btw, have you had the chance to test our theory that the BOV cracks open in between NLTS yet? Just curious.

Stickied.

I'm glad that some more people are trying to pursue this on stock block, even though this may be costly. I also admire you that your willing to risk spending more money to try and break a record.

Best of luck to you and STM in getting this to break into the 9s!

Actually waiting on the wheel and hub as well as the injectors. We tracked them today and it says friday. Shipping is all messed up because of the holidays. I also still need to get a hub for this thing.

Imo, recirculating would benefit any setup no matter the turbo size EXCLUDING forward facing turbo setups for obvious reasons.

Injectors came in today and the car should fire up tomorrow! Everything is ready but we are still waiting on the steering hub.

Honestly chief, make a new thread and talk about it. Or shove a camera up your BOV and prove your point. Bottom line, NO Vacuum, NO Open. If it does. Get a new one cause its ****ed...... next. off topic, move along.

You obviously don't understand how a BOV works. A fully functional BOV does not need to be under vacuum for it to crack open. There only has to be a differential in pressure between the top and bottom. Please try to educate yourself next time before you try to put someone in their place.

Back on topic, that engine bay looks very clean. Loving the STM valve cover.

Im just not sure how the pressure will be different? With It installed correctly you should not have this issue. Not only that but you have to figure even if its not 1:1 you still have to over come a 6psi spring as well so technically you will have to have a 6 psi vacuum difference from top to bottom.

I guess we will see...

Certainly worth looking into. I want to see this setup at 100% efficiency just as much as you and the owner. 9's on a red with a street car, much less a stock block would be an amazing feat. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have doubts but I most certainly hope you prove me wrong.
