Ryu's hunting for 9's on the Stock Block
My Judge Racing ported ported FP Black turbo arrived today. The port work is absolutely second to none. She should flow like a champ! Thanks Judge!

Next step is to have the hotside and the exhaust manifold ceramic coated.

Some time in the next two weeks. The hotside and exhaust manifod are going in for ceramic coating today. Then once I install the turbo mid this week the car will be taken to Alex Roque, one of the best fabricators in Florida, to transfer my custom o2 housing solution from paper to engine bay.
goodluck on breaking into the 9's but sell that turbo asap!!!! i havnt seen any REALLY impressive proof about this black, its just overkill in my oppinion its to much stuffed into to small of a housing your just gonna generate alot of extra heat. y i DOUBT youll ever go 9's on pump and meth with out knocking a rod right out of that block. MAYBE if you can supresse the knock with c-16 you might go 10.0-9.99 with perfect driving and a little weight loss.
have the 02 plumb into the exhaust WAY down stream at an easy 30-45* angle...no more.
we had a local test an 02 recirc back to back w/ an 02 dump.
the recirculation plumbed into the exhaust like 3ft down stream...so no cause for turbulence.
he gained 45hp going dump.
this was on an SRT-4 fwiw, but the concept is none the less, still the same.
he hated the dump noise as well...his solution? he bought an inline straight through motorcycle muffler and had it welded in to make the dump quite.
effective, and most power potential...something you should think about.

My plan is to certainly route the wastegate tube as far down the exhaust stream as possible. Unfortunately 3 feet seems a bit unrealistic on an Evo in comparison to an SRT4. It's quite tight in the oil pan area as it is with just a 3inch downpipe, especially on an ACD equipped Evo. I have a few ideas and I expect the results to be quite favorable. Thank you for your input.
