Picked up the black today from FP. Its getting ported tonight along with the MAP dump housing. I'll be waking up early tomorrow and will get everything back together.

I've had a good number of set backs... and I'm still afraid that there will be no compression when I try to start it in a little bit. I did a leak-down test, but it was rather inconclusive. All cylinders "kind of" held pressure. They lost air at a constant rate and its coming from the crank case. I'll update later tonight.

so do you think it has to do with the MAP shortblock or maybe it has to do with how you degreed the cams/ or head/ valves?

99% chances it's the timing. I'll know tomorrow once I pick up a decent timing tensioner tool. 1% chance MAP didn't alternate the piston rings when the block was assembled. That's very unlikely.

Dont get caught up on set backs. Every build.... and I say EVERY build, has some type of setbacks.

Sick build man if I wasn't so heavily into drag racing I wouldn't be doing a T3 2.0l. I would be doing a 2.4l FP Black, I really dont think you can beat this setup.

Haha that sucks bro. At least it's running! I didn't get a chance to work on it today, but hopefully tomorrow night.

Stay tuned!
