agreed on this point hints why i did not assemble mine tscompusa i dont care really i want it done right the first time. I rather be the payman when it come to engine assembly then to screw up and redo and possible have to redo more stuff again. If i had spare money and TIME maybe i would on a bs motor that i did not care about but i just dont have to time to be working running a business and focus on engine assembly. I make money to spend it i choose to spend it on somebody else that knows more about putting motors together

you need to get the technical bulletins from mitsubishi and read and learn how these engines work.. regardless you will need to eventually wrench on the car yourself. if you want it i have it, just pm me.. all you gotta do is read it.. and i know you have enough interest in these cars to learn a thing or two from the guides.

i was told $300 to file the rings and assemble the shortblock after they do all the machine work including fitting everything to the "proper" clearance. of course all the machine work is not included in the $300.

I had a friend that had a 2.0L long rod. I also had a friend do a 2.2L long rod. The 2.2L had a twinscroll 4094r attatched to it. And let me tell you you want a wild ride in a car that was supposed to not like the 4094r then I couldnt imagine a 2.2L long rod with a 6262.
