need help with ss lines

need help with ss lines

so my clutch is acting up, grinding in 1st etc. and being just noisy...i did some investigating and found a braided line not attached to anything right above the tranny, not wet or anything. is that a clutch line?? i think i may need fluid if thats the case..plz help

wait what. the clutch line isnt attached? were does the ss line goto? and did you buy the car new? because stock they come with a rubber line unless changed to a ss line

no no its a 2003 and i bought it recently..well i have the one ss line going from the release cylinder down to a hole in the tranny and there is a shorter line coming from that same hole that is not attached to anything...this may be my problem

Picture please. This would be a first.

You will need to connect the cable accordingly and bleed clutch system.

here are some pictures of what im talking about, it has a hydraulic release bearing due to it being a twin disk but should i have an open line??

I have an exedy twin, it still connects. That line should lead from master to slave cylinder.

That's the bleeder line for your hydraulic throw out bearing. Notice how the end of it looks just like the bleeder nipple on a brake line.

oh ok, so how would i go about bleeding that? my clutch is making a horrible grind im just wondering if fluid is my problem
