It's obviously going to depend on your tune, injectors, etc. I made 525 AWHP (VD Dynojet setting) on the modified Walbro 255 with 1450 cc FIC Bluemax injectors. I was running out of fuel so I have installed an adjustable FPR and the Walbro 400. It is definately running richer, but I have not been tuned for the Walbro 400 yet. Long way of saying that it should be good for well over 525 AWHP.

My guess is around 600whp on a dynojet with E85 if you are lucky.

I'm guessing closer to 650whp on a dynojet & E85, but time will tell. My car won't make anywhere near even 600 hp so I'm pretty sure that the 400 is going to be a good choice for me.

You might be right. Im shooting for 600-650whp on a Dynojet with E85. I was going to go with this pump but I changed my mind and am now going with a Double pumper just to be done with my fueling issues.

Here is an interesting read on the Walbro 400 in case you haven't seen it:

Just wanted to report that I have finally purchased a Walbro 400lph pump. The pictures below illustrate another successful fuel pump housing modification. The housing modification took a total of 20 minutes giving more then enough clearance for the new pump to fit in comfortably. The installation of the assembly back into the gas tank went very smooth as well and presents zero clearance issues. In regards to the pumps performance, my personal experience with my car was seeing previous air/fuel ratios of 11.3 out the top to 10.3 air/fuel after the pump installation. If there's a lesson to be learned in this thread, it's to think for yourself. No matter who says "it can't be done", it can.

My 255 was rewired. This is a direct back to back comparison.

So you dont need the plastic bracket to hold the pump up or is it secured some other way.

If you look closely behind the two rubber hoses you'll see a hose clamp around the pump to help give it extra support. It takes a really good tug to remove the pump when the grommet is seated in place with no other support. With the clamp lightly tightened down in place, the pump isn't going anywhere.
