I don't disagree, I ended up using both the hose clamp and the stock retaining clip. Probably overkill but it's not hard to do.

I currently have a DW pump rewired, fuelab fpr, ad 1350cc injectors on e85. I need more fuel. If I install this with a rewire, will the return line be small causing any issues? Or will I have any problems running this pump, rewired with e85?

I also read earlier in this thread that a new pump will come out last month (Feb.) thats e85 compatible, is that true? Is there a new part number?

Thank you

Nice job Lukelis,
The bevel in pic 2 is to seat the pump correctly so the end cap can fit?
Also, does the zip tie keep the clips from popping off.

Yeap Catman, the zip tie holding that cap very strong in setup like that

bump for an answer if someone is using this rewired with e85. Is it overrunning the stock return line? Is it needed to drill out the siphon tube?

I'm out of fuel on my fp black on 31psi and my dw301 pump, I need something bigger and don't know if this would be the solution or not.

Thank you.

If you do the standard rewire that sends only high voltage to the pump, you'll definitely overrun the factory FPR and possibly the siphon hole. Doubt you'll overrun the factory return line. If you do a rewire like what I did, you'll likely be able to avoid any overrun issues with the fpr or siphon. Sorry, that's not quite the answer that you wanted, but best I can provide at the moment. Hoping to have solid answers in the near future when I try out this pump (have one in a housing ready to go but busy with other things).

Doesn't a rewired Walbro 255 support 600 whp on pump? The burning question is definitely whether this pump can support 600+ whp on E85.

my 255 is rewired only. I tested to on 93 to 525 VD Dynojet. That was as much as I wanted to push stock block, so perhaps there maybe more

On E with a little less boost I was was getting lean up top.

so yeah, it's really what's the limit on E for the 400.

That's what I want to know as well. I'm pulling the trigger on this or building a double pumper tonight.

I've been using a dw301 up to 34psi on my hta green, but on my black at 31psi, its not enough. At less that's a good way of telling I'm moving some more air lol.
