UPDATE:

I am running a 1/2" stainless hardline under the car in place of the stock return. I will use this as the new supply line and the stock supply line as the return. Should have it finished and installed this weekend. I have weld-on stainless AN fittings for each end of the hardline.

Nice work. That's a lot of fuel line with an "OEM" look. Did you use an annealed tube?

Any reason you are going with weld on ends over tube nuts and sleeves?

I have a Synchrowave 250 TIG welder at my house so it is easy and I prefer a welded joint vs nut and sleeves.

The tube is 304 stainless with 0.049" wall. This stuff is stiff as heck and requires a special tool for bending. I purchased the tool used off ebay for $50, but they are $110 new for the one I use. Even with the tool it takes a lot of force to bend the tubing.

The hard line is done and I did make it abbreviated at the front of the car to avoid the headache of making it run to the engine compartment. I terminated it about 1" as it angled up from the bottom of the car so I could easily access the connection with a wrench. I will post pics once the AN fittings are welded and the hardline installed.

I have been fighting to remove the fuel hose on the factory supply line that connects from the hardline to the fuel rail. I purchased the adapter for the end of the factory supply line to make it a -6 AN. Just hard to get a good angle on it with the wrenches.

Taking a break I found a good place to mount the ethanol sensors...

Yeah, I've bent up annealed 3/8" stainless line before with a bender very similar to that and even with it annealed, it was still fairly difficult to bend. Your bender more beefcake then the one I have.

Nice. I was curious based on some testing we have done but as always lots more testing to do. Also as a side note we are ordering the Garrett turbo speed sensors. The Series 2 that is going to go in my car can log it.

New hard line is installed. It is hard to get a good pic with the car on jackstands.

One of my Christmas presents should be arriving Friday to finish the new fuel system...
